So I’ve been thinking a lot about jobs and where I would love to end up working. I narrowed my list down to 5 companies that I would only dream to work at.
1. Wieden+Kennedy - With offices in the most amazing cities such as New York and Tokyo, W+K is one of the top advertising agencies to work at. They first became famous for the creation of Nike’s famous tagline, “Just Do It”. Their company culture is really geared to freedom for creativity and development of ideas.
2. Apple - Part of what I love about marketing is found in Apple. They developed their brand based on simple, clean advertising and soon launched an empire of products. I’m interested in technology based advertising and Apple is one of my favourites.
3. Facebook - Another area of advertising and marketing I love is social media networks. The one thing I enjoy about Facebook is their work culture is relaxed and again emphasizes creativity. They really value employees as well.
4. H&M - This is one commercial fashion company that I would love to work at because they really emphasizes corporate responsibility. You may think of jumbling it into every other low priced fashion retail house, but if you do research, H&M has many guidelines to maintain quality and social responsibility. I also just love the clothes :)
5. Myself - I actually really want to open my own business eventually. I don’t think it will be in advertising personally, but something I have a passion for that is for sure.
